The structured dashboard with clear statistics enables quick, data-based decisions. Prices, specialty coffees and recipes can be adjusted simply and directly. Usage data can be collected as required and exported per automatic coffee machine or location. Pocket Pilot 3.0 boasts five different modes, offering the flexibility required for a wide variety of operating formats.

Be it with SumUp or via QR code, Pocket Pilot supports digital payments flexibly and securely. The direct connection to SumUp enables card payments with very little effort – the terminal is mobile, ready for immediate use and requires no additional technology. Alternatively, payment can be made directly via the automatic coffee machine via QR code. This is enabled by the integration of a digital payment provider. Guests select their preferred payment method – such as PayPal or Apple Pay – and pay conveniently by smartphone. If the transaction is successful, preparation begins automatically.

Pocket Pilot monitors the telemetry-capable automatic coffee machines from JURA in real time and displays their status directly in the dashboard. Push and e-mail notifications automatically provide information about maintenance requirements, care instructions and malfunctions – enabling you to avoid breakdowns at an early stage. The clear display in the dashboard enables precise decisions to be made based on data and ensures stable processes and consistently high availability of the automatic coffee machines.

The Pocket Pilot chatbot provides precise information directly in the dashboard – available at any time, clearly formulated and immediately applicable. Be it for settings, receipt adjustments or maintenance, the digital contact partner guides you step by step through the processes. To connect your JURA Pocket Pilot 3.0 to a fully automatic coffee machine for the first time, you need the free Management app. You use it to register the fully automatic machine and create the basis for using your Pocket Pilot 3.0. You can also easily install software updates for the Business Connect using the management app. 

The ideal solution for every business

JURA Pocket Pilot offers operators five modes for using the automatic coffee machine and offering coffee specialities – free of charge, for a fee or with periodic billing.

In the open mode, all coffee specialities are available free of charge. For the operators, the open mode offers all the advantages that JURA Pocket Pilot 3.0 provides: from statistics to push notifications for maintenance alerts.

In the payment mode, the prices of the coffee specialities can be seen on the display of the fully automatic machine. This allows consumers to see the selection directly, choose the coffee speciality they want and pay for it easily and securely using the QR code in the next step.

In the prepaid mode, consumers receive an account that they can top up with credit and use to make coffee. Transaction fees only apply when topping up. No costs are incurred by the operator, which makes a more affordable product possible.

The authorised access mode grants selected individuals or groups access to specific fully automatic machines. The coffee purchases are billed individually. This mode is popular in schools or co-working spaces, not least because it replaces and automates the tally sheet.

The multi-mode allows the different modes to be combined, enabling operators to register different user groups. For example, employees can benefit from prepaid or open mode, while payment mode is used for external visitors.
